We’ll review everything to ensure we have what we need to begin the project and may request additional details if necessary. Desktop Design - We will design the desktop version of your website, focusing on layout and functionality based on your requests and content. This foundational step can help reduce the effort required for SEO and mobile optimization later on in the process. Progress Review - Progress reviews can be done through a scheduled video meeting or a recorded video sent via email. It's recommended to use the full design block before receiving updates, with feedback implemented in future iterations. Pausing the project too early for check-ins can extend the timeline due to concerns over incomplete items taking away from the design time needed to complete them. It is important to allow the website service to progress before requesting updates. Feedback Implementation - After receiving your progress review updates, please consolidate your feedback into a single Word document in Google Drive to streamline revisions. Adjustments will be made based on your input, and additional feedback may be needed for further clarification or details. Mobile Optimization - After the desktop design is approved, we'll adjust the website to fit different device sizes. Wix Editor supports two breakpoints: one for desktop and one for mobile. In Wix Studio, there are three default breakpoints, with the option to create additional ones if needed. Search Engine Optimization - We can optimize the site by labeling page titles, descriptions, images, sections, and graphics. Adding website functionality, additional pages and navigation can also help improve SEO. Quality Control - We can website features to make sure the site is functioning correctly. Your help is also important in this space. Website Launch - Publish the website to make it live for your audience. A Wix premium plan is required for domain connection. Guidance can be provided for linking payment setups, syncing calendars, and completing any remaining tasks. Website Maintenance - We offer consulting and ongoing support for site management. The time needed to build a website depends on several factors: the amount and organization of content, functionality requirements, design, and related communications. To streamline the process, it's crucial to gather and organize all content in one place and list any requests and priorities. ​ Typically, communications and edits can be completed within 2-4 business days, provided all content is available. Small Business Startup Solutions does not offer refunds, but if needed, we may allocate additional time to the design or communication process to address concerns and work towards your satisfaction. Designing a website is similar to commissioning a piece of art – it involves trusting the designer's expertise and style to bring your vision to life. Your requests and content are incorporated into the site considering design best practices, website responsiveness, website accessibility standards, SEO, functionality, and your budget. These factors play the role of decision making when it comes to the design strategy. You always have the option to allocate more time to your service. After completing an initial service, you should have a sense of the design's quality, and if adjustments are needed, they can typically be made. When you purchase one of our website templates we stay on as co-owner until you change or remove our permissions. This gives us the full ability to access your site and should you need assistance in setting up new content, making updates, or addressing ongoing maintenance. ​ If you decide you would like us to add content to your website theme we charge for full content implementation and do not discount for any efforts made within the design by the client. You will have three days to accept the Wix website invitation from Wix once it has been sent to your e-mail. If your invitation expires, please contact us and we can resend it to you complimentary. If a second resend is necessary, there will be a $25 service charge.
